Autism awareness promoted in Cherry Hill
Students at Woodcrest Elementary
School recently watched a video created with love and concern by Christy
Carlson and Debbie Schmidt, parents of autistic children. <more>

Woodcrest Elementary School
celebrated Autism Awareness Month with a special video
presentation prepared by 13 fifth graders, with the support of teachers
Kathleen McEleney and Carol Walton and parents Debbie Schmidt and
Christy Carlson. The students - Matty B., Jessica B., Katie C., Jason
F., Samantha K., Jamie L., Liza L., Rachel M., Katie O., Jake R., Jordan
S., Megan T., and Jen T. - prepared the video presentation to bring
awareness of autism to the Woodcrest School Community. The video is
part of an assembly that is being presented to all of the classes
at Woodcrest. Watch for the assembly when it airs on Cable 19 in May.
